Extremely rare WW1 British Sniper rifle. Original BSA made, 1916 dated, SMLE MkIII* fitted with an original 1916 Aldis Sniper scope. Faithful reproduction J Purdey & Son mountings and chamois lined leather case. This original rifle is in remarkable condition with a bore that refuses a .305” bore gauge . The Aldis scope has been completely overhauled and is in “as new” optical condition.
