#A03 - 1898 BSA Lee Enfield Mark 1 .303"

Beautiful Long Lee Enfield Mark 1 made by BSA in 1898. Converted by BSA to Charger Loading Lee Enfield (CLLE) MkI* in 1908, and so marked. Excellent clean, crisp and bright bore which refuses a .305" bore gauge. Fitted with an Enfield made barrel dated 1902 with Enfield rifling and ā€œEā€ stamped on the knox form, thus suitable for use with modern nitro ammunition. Butt has a round 'R M ENFIELD' cartouche and ā€˜3 1910 date. Very good walnut woodwork and pit-free blue receiver. A very attractive collectable and shootable rifle.
