This rifle is in excellent original condition with a good bore that refuses a .305” gauge. Fitted with an original British made Pattern ’18 over the bore Periscopic Prism scope, numbered to the rifle, on mounts newly made to the original design. The scope has clear crisp optics, and is complete with leather lens covers and correct canvas case. This is the first official British 'over the bore' WW1 sniper rifle, which continued to be produced and used throughout WW2. Only Winchester manufactured P14 rifles were converted to snipers.
